Sounds like a joke right? It certainly would have seemed that way to the members of Animated State in early 2006. Before that the trio had no idea that they would shortly embark on a year long learning experience about short films and animation.
Coming from wildly different backgrounds each had a different take on things, now they are ready to bring their ideas to life with their first short animated film Ignorance Is Bliss.
Written by Miriam Wilson, and directed by Sean Christensen, IIB has was featured at the Hi/Lo and Los Angeles Film Festivals, and is featured in the Short Film Corner of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, this short film was animated and edited by myself. It also features vocal work by myself and Killing My Lobster member Tonya Glanz.
