Isaac Hayes is a fool
Remember kids it’s funny until it’s your religion, then it’s bigotry. Isaac needs to grow up, and smell what he’s shovelling. As Trey Parker aptly put it: “He wants a different standard for religions other than his own, and to me, that is where intolerance and bigotry begin.” What a fool.

Try and Matt are over-rated, unfunny, fools.

Trey you mean? Over-rated? Sure, but they can be very funny.
I’d say it’s more South Park that is over-rated anyhow. All their other movies have been very funny, if not technically brilliant. It’s not inteligent comedy, but that doesn’t make it any less funny.
They should have wound the show down though after the movie, it’s gone on too long.

Well, Gregory, I have to disagree on one point. I think South Park, while not as good as it once was, is still hilarious most of the time. Also, Trey and Matt are willing to talk about things that no one else is willing to talk about.
Oh, and Isaac Hayes blows. Darn Scientologists.

Oh don’t get me wrong, it’s still funny. It’s just not exactly as good as some people seem to say it is.
Certainly it’s one of the few places that will tackle topics that other mainstream shows would shy away from. Mostly because it is so outrageous.
It at least hasn’t turned into The Simpsons which, while a little better now, is really jsut grasping at straws now…

South Park is still some of the most brilliant and consistently funny satire on television. As old as it is, I still think that it has no takers… even new shows like Family Guy, which I also enjoy, can’t touch it. I will miss Chef.

Family Guy and it’s sister show American Dad are different though. Family Guy is more what the Simpsons used to be before it decended into self-referencial parody, and American Dad is Family Guy with a narrower purpose.
Both are good, but different.
South Park is funny, but isn’t satire though, it’s jokes at somethings expensese. There is a difference.

south park is too into current pop-culture
no staying power

You guys are gay. South Park kicks all holy ass.

Yeaahhh.. real mature Midget.
C - it’s already got staying power… it’s been around for what.. nearly 7 years? As long as it keeps changing topics it’ll work. An example of a show that is running out of ideas is The Simpsons. The new episodes are rarely funny.

Gregory, in case I should start giving a fuck, I shall let you know.
And C, it certainly has staying power, especially since the last couple of seasons were better than most before.
