Funny. I didn’t hate SW III nearly as bad as you did, Gregory, but it was a deeply flawed movie. If you could ignore the writing, acting and coughing robots, it was actually somewhat enjoyable.
If you can ignore that, and the bad acting, poor dialogue, lousy direction, and general level of suck…
… yeah you can enjoy it
The best thing about it was that it allowed me to see the characters finish their journey. In the hands of another director and writer it could have been incredible. It wasn’t even average.

Yeah. Can you imagine the same general story in the hands of Irving Kershner (Director of Empire Strikes Back) ? What a movie that would have been.
