Killing My Lobster Takes A Cruise
While I was in the US last I helped build the sets for KML’s last production “Nothing is Original”. Miriam was an intern with them and I’ve always been a theater person, so I was happy to get involved.
The show was really, really, funny. It was based on found items (especially found photos or letters) that the writers and cast had found on the streets of The Bay.
Now, many months on, they have a new production: KML Takes a Cruise, and Miriam even has a sketch in the show (which is good, as she is funny, and a good comedy writer). So I say to you all - if you live in or around the Bay Area - go and see it! It runs from this Thursday, February 23rd at 8pm, and runs for a couple of weeks.
You can buy tickets online at the KML website, and I would really recommend it. These guys produce award winning comedy shows and films.
Also - if you want to be an Usher they are in need of a few volunteers. It’s not hard work, can be lots of fun, and you get to see the show for free. If you think that sounds like something you wouldn’t mind doing (even for only a few nights) run over to Miriam’s LJ and let her know.
If you do go, and bump into Miriam, say Hi!

[…] If you can find it (it’s a very popular magazine) and you live in the bay area, check out the latest issue of the San Francisco Magazine. In it you’ll find more about KML Takes a Cruise, and they even mention Miriam’s sketch (she’s in two of the accompanying photos as well). […]
