Well.. it is. But it’s deliberate.
Things are going to look a bit messed up on here for a while: I’m changing the design… live. No it’s not just Michael that likes to do that!
Of course this is probably as stupid time to do that: as I leave for Oakland tomorrow! Don’t expect this done overnight (hah.. given my track record I doubt any of you expect that).
Rocky 6 Planned
I love the Rocky movies. The first 2 are great, even the 3rd is ok. The 4th is crap, and the 5th is generally derided by the people that love the 4th (as far as I’m concerned the 5th was closest to the first 2, and is better than the 3rd). However… Stallone is making a 6th Rocky movie. Hmm. I hope it will be good, but I don’t know.
WYSIWYG?
I probably owe an apology to Matt.
A while ago I posted a rather… erm… abrasive comment on his blog when he mentioned WordPress was going to be using TinyMCE as a WYSIWYG editor.
I’d just spent a lot of time wrestling with different editors for a work project. TinyMCE in particular was proving a pain in the neck. So perhaps I wasn’t in a particularly good frame of mind to recieve this information. Owen was nice enough to let me try out WP1.6 on his site (I hadn’t worked up the courage to do so on this site, though I have now) and my opinion changed about WYSIWYG in WordPress: It works, and works well.
However this is not your normal WYSYWIG.
*le sigh*
The damn internet is down again at my house. Updates are probably not going to happen too much until I get that sorted. Again. On another note: I was thinking about doing a Fast Fiction Friday… or some such related short fiction type excersise here. What do you think?
iPod Video
Ooo… ooo you bastards! Remember when video iPods weren’t going to happen? Yeah… that’s all changed, much like a flash based iPod (the nano) this is now a reality. I had just about convinced myself into getting a nano (I don’t own any Apple gear atm)… but now I have a real choice to make. Utter, utter bastards.
