Touched Update
A quick word to those that will want to know:
I just updated WordPress: Touched to version 0.6. Lots of important changes, and feature additions. Its looking much more like what I wanted from it.
Enjoy.
AJAX : Whiter than White?
There’s a lot of talk about AJAX right now. There’s also a lot of hype about it, and how it relates to remote scripting. I thought, having worked with it, I’d throw my two cents (or pence, to be more exact) into the ring.
There is something I want to make very clear:
Remote Scripting != AJAX. (more…)
Guess Who’s Back?
Today an icon of my youth comes back. A man who is over 900 years old, and runs around in a tricked out Police Box. A man who has saved the world (and others) more times that I’ve had hot dinners.
Who is that man? Yes, yes he is.
Before I start punning some more and this turns into “Who’s on First” I should explain to the people that haven’t twigged yet.
The man I am talking about is Doctor Who.
Temporary Theme
I finally got to the stage where my boredom with Kubrick (no offence Michael) overpowered my apathy to change the design.
Its only a very minor modification to Kubrick right now, but I wanted to change the look a little. Oh and yes, that is my ugly mug in the top left. Now you know.
Thanks to PhotoMatt, Michael, and a good few others.. my latest plugin is getting a flattering ammount of attention. If you’ve swung by because of a link to WordPress: Touched then hello! Pull up a chair and stay awhile, its not all code here, and its always nice to have new people!
Anyhow… this is a temporary look, there are lots of things I’d change in Kubrick if I was going to edit it properly, but this will do until I have time to do a proper re-design. Work, and side projects, are — as ever — kicking my ass.
WordPress: Touched
Current Version: 0.6.3
This is a plugin I wrote after I spied a post over on PhotoMatt. Matt pointed out that Owen was working on a theme that had inline editing of posts, but was disapointed that it wasn’t a plugin.
I looked at it and said “I can do that!”
So I did.
